Ingredients for Paan Coconut Ladoo
- Paan/Betel Leaves: 1
- Gulkand - 1-2 spoons
- Dessicated Coconut: 1/2 cup
- Condensed Milk: 1/2 cup
- Chopped Cashew Nut: 1/2 cup
- Chopped Red cherries: 1/2 cup
- Candies: 1 pkt
- Powdered Sugar 3/4th Cup
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4th tsp
- Ghee - 3-4 tsp
Method of making Homemade Paan Coconut Ladoos
- First of all, you will have to grind the Paan or Betel Leaves into a smooth Paste.
- Now, take desiccated Coconut and roast it slightly in a wok with ghee, until it turns aromatic.(Keep aside some desiccated Coconut for decoration)
- Now mix into this the Paan leaves paste along with the condensed milk.
- Stir it to get rid if the raw smells and then turn off the fire.
- Now, mix in the Cardamom Powder, Powdered sugar, chopped Cashew nuts, chopped Red cherries and Candies in the Paan Coconut mixture with your hands.
- Grease your hands with ghee, and start making walnut sized balls or ladoos.
- You can stuff the ladoos with some Gulkand and then seal it with a Cherry.
- Now, dust some more desiccated coconut on the ladoos.
- Also decorate your plate full of Ladoos with some rose petals, candies and some Paan Leaves.
- Serve it for festivals to your family and friends and enjoy it's delightful taste.
