#1. Paper umbrella for quirky wall hangings:
For this you would need:
- Color papers, Fevistick, Scissors, Double-sided tape, Wire, pencil
- First, you’ll take around 4-5 color papers of same or different color as you wish and draw a big circle in the center of each paper. Now cut out the circles with the help of a scissor.
- Now fold the circles into halves to get a semi-circle and again give it a fold joining the ends to resemble a triangle.
- Now partly open these triangles to apply fevistick on the lower half of the crease on the semicircles. And now stick them back into triangles.
- Now apply fevistick to one side of the triangle and stick it to another triangle. Keep doing this clockwise and then finally join the last two ends. Your cap of the umbrella is ready.
- Now simply pass a wire through the tip of the cap and seal it on the tip with double-sided tape.
- Give a curve to the wire hanging below to resemble handles of an umbrella.
- Make as many and of different colors umbrellas as much as you want and join them together using tapes to make quirky wall hangings. Hang them by the doors, windows or on the walls.

- Now take the semicircles together and fold them together into a triangle. Now cut two small half moons from the right side of the triangle to form the curvy lower trim of the umbrella
- Now separate them all and stick one edge to another like I explained in the previous one.
- Before sticking the last two ends, fold them all together and apply glue on the rib and stick a toothpick.
- Now stick the last two ends and the umbrellas are ready. Make much more like this one and tie them using a string. Alternate it with leaves cut out from paper and tie them from a wooden log or a shelf or window pane, as you wish. Make similar threads like this as per your needs.
