Ingredients
- 2 l milk
- Sugar: 1/2 cup
- Lemon Juice: 2 tsp
- Green Cardamom Powder: 1 tsp
- Saffron (Optional)
The Recipe for Malai Ladoo:
- First of all, Boil the Milk and also keep aside 2 cups of Boiled milk for later use.
- Now, pour in the Lemon juice and curdle the rest of the milk. Now drain the water through a thin cloth and rinse it to get rid the lemon smell.
- Allow all the waters to drain off slowly.
- Now condense the remaining milk along with 2 cups of sugar, so that it reduces into half.
- Now in it, add the drained Chenna or Paneer.
- Stir it continuously.
- Add cardamom powder and mix it well.
- Now put out the flame and allow it to cool off.
- Now, place it in your Modak mould.
- Keep the center filled.
- After you got it in Modak Shape, you can resize it to the shape of a Ladoo.
- Finally, decorate it with Green Cardamoms and Saffron strands and serve it.
